The service and attitude at this restaurant were shocking! Last night, a group of 6 women dined here and were met with rudeness from the moment we arrived. The staff seemed dismissive and passed us off to different employees. We were told how to order our food in a rude manner. When it came time to pay our bill, we wanted to split the payment between cash and card, but the manager/owner refused, citing tax complications. We tried to leave a tip out of courtesy, but were told not to bother as the card reader doesn't allow for tips. We were also told we couldn't pay £19.88 and had to round up to the nearest whole number. Overall, we were spoken to condescendingly and made to feel uncomfortable...
I have been to this Restaurant many times and I sadly have to say it’s gone down in my estimation, they are always late in getting you to your table, slow in taking your drinks order, and then even slower in taking your food order. It is such a shame as it use to be so good, the owner of the restaurant seems to have lost his personality? Don’t like card purchases and even stated cash gets discounts, first time he has offered that in all the years I have been going!! Such a shame he has become so greedy. Not for me anymore
The food and beer are very reasonably priced and the dishes are well executed classics. My vindaloo was nice and hot, and quite dark and angry and the portions are good. The service was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely go again when I am next in town Oh my only observation is that there wasn't any background music being played which would have added to the atmosphere You've got to love a bit of Indian music while you crunch your poppadoms
We've eaten here a few times had take aways not had a bad curry yet! Staff are really friendly, the restaurant is comfortable and the food is always great. We've tried the chicken tikka, veg biriani, tarka dal, saag aloo, dansak veg madras and they were all great. Only grumbles are they don't label vegetarian or vegan food as an LFC fan, surprised the only paper they have if you're waiting for a take away is the S*n Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Went for the 1st time lastnight it is very busy which to me is normally a good sign and it was very nice food will be going again in the near future.
This is the best curry in east Kent, Just love it . If we could afford it we would be here every night. The staff are lovely and friendly
