Eleven years later I found my old review here on Happycow to guide me where to go in Rio, here it is: I visited five of Rio's happycow-listed buffets during my recent stay in the city, and this was the best of the lot. Fully vegetarian, probably fully vegan, with a good variety of tasty items at a decent price Eleven years later, it's still very good. Unusual items like seitan and curried cauliflower, staples too, everything delicious. At 45 per kilo, this is about 25% less than similar veggie buffets of this quality. I wish it wasn't my last day in Rio!
What a delightful place. The buffet was all vegan with the exception of honey in one of the dressings. The food was delicious, the selection was plenty and the place was simple, quiet and quaint. Pay per kilo. Very friendly staff. A great find. The upstairs seating area is open and cozy. I definitely recommend it.
