A family member brought us here. The restaurant is in a quiet residential area in a large villa.It's family run with the owner getting up at 5 AM every morning to fish, coming back to work his fish veggie garden before going back to the lake to fish in the afternoon and cook in the evening. In between he has two siestas.His wife welcomes everyone warmly and serves in a friendly style.They specialize in freshly caught lake fish and veggies and salad from the garden.It is a really relaxing experience which will suit older couples, a couple wanting a romantic quiet dinner or a discrete business meeting.The menu is not extensive but the for excellent.They have a full bar, accept credit cards and...
Charming village Auberge, just across the French border in the Canton Vaud. Very peaceful tranquil setting, the terrace is available during the summer months. We had filet de perche (different sauces available,) with potatoes and a salad.The fish arrives on its own frying pan keeping the food hot. The menu is not extensive but enough to choose from. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Many locals were dining the evening we were there (mid-week,) always a good sign. Plenty of parking opposite.
I've visited this restaurant about 20 times in all seasons. I always bring people here to sample the fresh fish on offer. It's a wonderful village restaurant very close to the border with France. They have a vegetable garden at the back of the restaurant....Don't be put off trying the fish if you've had a bad experience in Geneva, here the fish really does come from just down the road. Staff are super friendly. Highly recommended.
Wir haben vor ein paar Wochen hier gegessen, da ihr „Chasse“ von einem Freund empfohlen wurde. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht, es war eine der besten Zeiten, die wir je gegessen haben. We went there for dinner as family. Service was good and kids friendly, food was fantastic. They use local fish from Lac Leman, looks like they home grow vegetables, and we saw many local wines on the wine list. Fish was so fresh and the dish was superb! It's located in a quiet residential area and you can eat in a terrace during summer. Highly recommended!
I was in the summer in this restaurant, but it was the first time for la chasse season. we had rehearsal and wild boar, and had some fungus chanterelles, everything was delicious, including the beside dishes that came with main menu, such as red cabbage, carvings,...Green tomatenschoten and kastanien. we will surely go back!
Ich war im Sommer in diesem Restaurant, aber es war das erste Mal in der La Chasse-Saison. Wir hatten Rehe und Wildschweine und ein paar Pilzpfifferlinge, alles war köstlich, einschließlich der Beilagen zum Hauptmenü, wie Rotkohl, Schnitzel, Chutneys mit grünen Tomaten und Kastanien. Fantastic resteraunt in a quiet village. Fresh fish from the lake delivered daily. Filets de Perch is the best in the region and always perfectly cooked. Summer evening in the terrace is perfect. Good kitchen, quick service. Tasty meal pleasant surroundings. All together a splendid time to spend quality time with your family. Maybe to many animal Trophées in the bistro. A place certainly to be repeated.
