I have held off writing this review because we’ve been hopeful things would improve. Unfortunately they haven’t. After 5 years, today was our last visit. The waffle I had was ice cold. There is no way it was freshly made as the menu states. Butter would not melt on it. It had the taste of being in the refrigerator with other food. It was terrible. The fruit cup consisted of grapes and blueberries with two orange slices. In short, this not the Rendezvous Cafe we knew and loved every Sunday morning for the past five years. Update: We used to love this place, but under the new ownership it seems to be trying too hard and missing the target. I am sure some of it is missing the way it used to be, but we generally did not like the menu changes and the feel is just less comfortable. I am sure we will be back to give it another try at some point, but we have not been in a hurry. Under Previous Ownership: They have great food and a very comfortable laid back atmosphere. Rendezvous has been our favorite go to breakfast cafe, cozy, friendly, etc. The prices were a little high for breakfast before but we loved restaurant. With new owners the 2 egg breakfast I always order went up in price 18%. My husband’s usual breakfast order is no longer on menu. Coffee went from $3.85 to $4.00 and $6.00. I am really disappointed but Rendezvous has priced itself out of dining out rotation. On a positive note no problems with taste of the food and our waitress did a very good job. She was very pleasant and attentive.
Patio experience the other day was much like another review...very poor service...went inside to place the order, it came out wrong..they were taking care of another table that came in after we did...took their order and they had drinks before we did...service here has always been a little slow, but this was really inexcusable Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Amazing as always not only a fantastic staff, but the fresh food I have had in O’Fallon area. They have all kinds of make it your own way and even decently priced food. I would highly suggest this place for anybody going for brunch or dinner or really anytime of the day, but the mimosas are really the best.
On September 7, 2024, we had a Bridal shower for my future daughter-in-law. The food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance was perfect for a fall shower. Our hostess, Kelsey, was so attentive and very accommodating to all our guests who raved about how wonderful the whole experience was at Rendezvous.
LOVE THIS PLACE, THE BEST!!!!! Had a baby sprinkle and it was PERFECT!!!!! WONDERFUL STAFF- SO FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATING. STAFF HUSTLED FOOD WAS THE BEST!!!!! All I asked for MORE!!!!! THANKS PATRICK!!!!! WELL DONE!!!!!
The food was average. Breakfast potatoes were undercooked and very small portion. Only one piece of toast. We got 3 breakfasts, 2 waters and a soda for 53.00 before tip. Ouch!! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Some friends and I came here for brunch and we had such an amazing experience! The food is great! The patio was such a vibe! Definitely will be coming back!
