I recently took my kids out for dinner and then again two days later with my hubby. Both occasions I had my 1.5 year old daughter in tow and was skeptical of how she would fair. Luckily she did amazing and since the food came relatively quickly I was able to keep her distracted! Food was delicious, I recommend the sirloin steak - they cook to perfection! My son had the baked spaghetti and said it was delicious. The portions are not small, so be prepared to roll out of there. Staff is friendly and helpful, especially the owner Toni. slow service almost an hour before our meal came. The greek salad had way to much dressing pour all over the top of it and it was served on a very small pate so you could not mix it. The 2 orders of chicken souvilaki one the chicken was ok and the other chicken was dry the rice on both were barely warm, and both had half a small potato which were blah. The plates when they arrived were very unappealing and the taste confirmed it. The other order was lasagna and the cheese topping was greasy and underneath he noodles were actually stuck together and it appeared the sauce was pour onto and sort of mix around. We were asked twice how the meals were by 2 different staff and we said not good, and...
This restaurant's subtitle is "the greek place" but I doubt if anyone in there has tasted greek food nevermind been to Greece. The greek salads were unlike anything I have had in Greece. The calamari was ok but the pizzas were very doughy and my son could finish his which is unheard of before. Given there semed to be very few alternatives in Chilliwack this survives but put in a city and it would last 2 weeks.
I ordered here rather than another place cause I was feeling doubtful of the other place and boy was I wrong. My steak came rare when ordered medium, and my sour cream was so beyond bad I can't believe anyone would pack that up for someone! After putting it all over my potato that was ruined so I paid for a $22 steak with no side. Thanks guys!
It's been a while since we visited. They OK to very good Greek inspired food. My wife really loves their Greek dressing and we have even gone in just to buy that. (they sell it by the jar). Staff was always very friendly and accommodating. I believe they were closed for a while but have reopened. Worth a try.
Wow we visited this restaurant for the first time and I have to say we will return for sure. The food was fantastic and the portion size was awesome we left the restaurant very satisfied. The servers are so friendly and not pushy at all, did not feel rushed. I would recommend to everyone you must try.
The Rendezvous is fantastic! Their staff make you feel at home and welcome! Whether you're feeling a baked alfredo, chicken souvlaki or the New York steak (some of my favourites), you will not be disappointed. Oh, and their Greek salad is to die for!
Not a busy day on Monday but so many other restaurants in Chilliwack are closed on Mondays. The chicken caesar salad was probably the best I have had in a long time,Our guest choose the luncheon specials lasagna and spaghetti and enjoyed it
We love going to Rendezvous on Monday for pasta night! Staff are always friendly and the food is never a letdown! Now, they could use an update to the seating, as it is very uncomfortable but that is my only complaint!
