Visited the restaurant to celebrate a birthday. It was going to be music night on the terrace, but unfortunately the weather had taken a turn for the worse, so the Band/music was cancelled. Despite this setback the restaurant was still packed, but not to the detriment of the service which was excellent; very friendly, helpful and patient as we spoke our limited French and the waitress spoke her best English it all added to the fun! The food was also excellent, very well cooked and presented, and the touch at the end was delightful the Apricot based dessert was signed (by the chef) with birthday wishes in apricot juice! Quelle belle surprise! We would recommend the restaurant without hesitati...
We chanced upon the hotel and restaurant on a rainy day traveling around Lake Annecy. The set menu is excellent value, the dining room very pleasant, and the staff cheerful and helpful. My wife's gluten and dairy issues were dealt with easily, and her foie gras selection and accompaniments were high quality. My filets des perche were perfectly crumbed and cooked, with excellent thick frites, and the best tartar sauce we have had in years. It is not fine dining or cheap eats, but a quality relaxed restaurant happily serving good food at a reasonable price.
The food was outstanding. I had the poke bowl to start which was packed full of veg and flavour and just made me feel happy. I also had sea bream (perfectly cooked with tasty veg). The chocolate pudding was the best I have ever had. I will revisit the area just to go back to this restaurant. The staff were really friendly and attentive. A wonderful experience. My friends went back the following night and said the steak was the best in the whole of France!
We tried this place at the end of our holiday and were really impressed with the food and the Quality of the staff, the set menu of 25 Euro was grew a value and clearly the chef knows what they are doing as food was of a great standard. a family home where the customer's welcome means something...The bosses (and especially, roger) are adorable and always, good advice...The hotel is nice as everything...The restaurant is of great quality...The staff is at the disposal of the customers...Brussels, a pleasure for us to come back to this pleasant house.
Charming french hotel restaurant with very welcoming owners and staff. I have eaten here many times and it never fails to please. It's just a pity that we have nothing like it here in Devon!
and at the hotel, we ate at the restaurant that offers several menus but tonight, there were also beef ribs and we enjoyed ourselves. The staff is very kind and the service is good.
