My friend and I took the BAT over to Lormont, a lovely little village just outside central Bordeaux. When we got off the boat we seen two restaurants directly opposite the port. We chose to have a wander around before we ate and headed up the hill. On our wee treck we discovered The Restaurant Auberny. This is a lovely little place that offers a great daily lunch menu of fresh salad, beef and coffee for a fantastic price. You can get a half bottle of wine here for a few euros more than a glass in the places nearer the river. The owner speaks no English and we speak little French but we were able to get by.He was pleasant and kind to us and we really felt welcome and relaxed in his restaurant...

The food is excellent, I don’t have anything to say about that. On the other hand, the atmosphere is sad and bland. And above all, thank you for indicating your real opening hours and days! It's very unpleasant... I came several times when Google indicated that it was open and surprise, it was closed! Example: 04/26/2024 at 8:00 p.m. restaurant closed…
Nice restaurant with super friendly people working there! We came there as every other restaurant was closed in this area except of this one. The wine and the Turkish food was very tasty. Do not search anymore ! Put your flasher 2 minutes from the ring road, easy access, easy to park. Unbeatable value for money! Gourmet and healthy starter buffet! Hearty and good dish! Excellent homemade dessert. Perfect service and rare kindness
My neighbor, his kitchen. I take advantage of these good dishes that he prepares me when I pass. I love this authenticity. I highly recommend but not too much. I want to have a table when I'm in the middle of cooking and it makes me feel good
