The restaurant is up a tiny unpretentious street so you would never expect to experience the most sublime lunch that any of us had eaten in a long time. A clever menu arrangement allowing you to taste everything on the menu or just choose what you want and the price and portions are adapted accordingly. There were four of us, three of us choosing Apple and Speck salad with a glorious dressing of Honey and Rosemary and the other choice being the carrot and ginger soup which was off the Richter scale. Hatte das Thunfischtatar mit dieser zitronigen Zitronennote und den süßen Zwiebeln einen großartigen Auftakt, die Guacamole als Tromp Oeil für Wasabi, mit Humus unter einer tollen Mischung. Das Hauptgericht waren die Zitronenravioli und das Steak perfekt zubereitet, alles mit einem großartigen Shyraz aus der Region, einer ausgezeichneten Käseplatte und der Heidelbeer-Eiscreme für die bessere Hälfte eines großartigen Abendessens in einer spektakulären Umgebung. Super adress ! Wow ! What a gorgeous meal ! Nice atmosphere, very pleasant service, and the food...exceptional ! You receive a panel, with 8 choices of dishes : you choose two, or three, or four...or more, and the price is according to your desire !Every bit of what we ate was stunning...! Imagination, presentation, taste, authentic taste...well cooked, and so nice to the eyes...! The wife of the cook has an amazing CV, is very nice and helps you with the wines ( great choice, and by the glass to match the food...!) ! a tremendous evening ! Don't hesitate !, but the place is small and you need to book in advance !
It's a small restaurant, recommend u made reservation before. Small choice of menu but everything is extremely well cooked.The summer salad is one of the best I have, lime soup is exotic and refreshing. You can really feel the cook is cooking for each customer with heart and warmth. The only reservation is that waitress and boss are too busy keep filling your water and wine, and kind of force you to take their excellent desert (but no regret on that even we was very full). The best meal and dining experience I've had on numerous visits to Switzerland. Modern but not pretentious, interesting use of top quality ingredients, generous servings. A lovely room and welcoming. Overall, a very nice surprise compared to some previous meals out in Switzerland. Not cheap compared to other places here, but a cut above and well worth it.
Absolutely elegant, surprising, delightful. Fantastic dish design, excellent choice of wine. Astonished and satisfied. Came back one more time the same week. Price is long forgotten while the great experience remains.
