My husband always likes to explore new restaurants. The food at Campagna was excellent. The service not so much. Our waiter refused to speak anything but French, even though we spoke to him in both French and English, he couldn't be bothered to even try. It is not a cheap restaurant, so the least the staff can do is make the effort. It is a very small restaurant so you kind of see anything that goes on. There was a dad with 2 small children seated near us, their waitress hit on the dad, asked for his number, which he wrote on a napkin and gave to her, (very unprofessional)! The food was amazing! But due to the lack of effort to please a customer or to watch some waitress set up a booty call,...
My daughter told me it 's ok for Ste Therese ...but like her,i never listen...and i 'm glad i didnt listen to her because i would of missed out on this fantastic find.The service was just perfect,the food was hot,well plated,great looking and most importantly,very good.As i ate,i looked around to the other couples that jamned the place and they all seemed to be enjoying the food. I 'm also glad that this fine establishment is not in Mtl or Laval.It gives us burbs a great place to eat without the hassles of parking and long waits....So if ever you go up north for skiing or in the fall for the leaves..stop by this great place and you wont be disapointed. I hesitate between 3 stars and 4 but I'll round up seeing as I'm willing to go back. This is definitely one of the nicer restaurants in the area. The ambiance is really lovely and romantic and chic. The food is hit or miss. My squash soup was very tasty but my linguini with pine nuts was a bit dry and weird. My boyfriend's bison, on the other hand, was excellent. The service is pretty slow we went on a Thursday night when it wasn't terribly crowded. If you're not in a rush, it's a nice spot and you could luck out with one of the better tasting dishes. I'd definitely give them another try.
The food was excellent, it was quite busy, as it should be for a Friday night. The only issue was the service. It was long and it's not because we ordered anything complex to make. But, we were happy with our food choices. The veal cheeks were very good and so was the pizza. During the long wait time it would have been nice if they offered something to nibble on. Love this place!!!. Great food, nice staff and wonderful ambiance. My husband and I keep going back and we're never disappointed. We've tried many dishes on the menu and everything is always so good. The chef makes a delicious lasagna with fresh pasta that is to die for. The fish is also excellent. A very nice place that I would definitely recommend!!!
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! It is definitely the best one on the north shore. The food was delicious, the wine selection was excellent, and the service was exceptional. The Maitre D was very entertaining, knowledgeable about wine and food, and made the experience unforgettable. I highly recommend this place!
Really extraordinary. I visited the campagna restaurant yesterday, February 16, and I have to admit it was very delectable! I took the ravioli to the squash, and the giant shrimp. service was more than perfect, attention, courtesy, competence to resold. I'm sure you'll try.
