Le Pressoir is located at the busy RN10 highway in Cavignac close to the D18 intersection. It is a true French truckers diner. The restaurant is basically furnished decorated and offers unpretentious dishes. Service is quick and adequate. Don’t expect any English. The restaurant is noted in ‘Truckfly by Michelin’. Driving down the road to Bordeaux we decided for Le Pressoir for dinner. We found the place packed with truckers. Staff is wearing a face mask. Social distance seating is not applied. Nous étions de passage sur la route des vacances. Nous ne regrettons pas de nous être arrêtés pour déjeuner. Très bon rapport qualité-prix, les plats bien cuisinés et la mousse au chocolat était excellente. Les patrons et les serveuses sont agréables et ont le petit mot gentil ce qui ne gâche rien. De passage nous nous sommes arrªts pour se restaurer. Ce f»t un belle surprise. Le menu est bon march avec du choix et tr¨s bon. La viande de buf tait extrªmement tendre. Good fresh French cuisine. Well cooked. Very friendly and dog permitted in the restaurant. They brought water for the dog without need to be asked. No English spoken but very clear and spoke slowly for us to understand. Starter, main, cheese pud water carafe of wine bread all included £16.50. Very worth stopping.
