This restaurant is new to Villeneuve sur Lot and has fresh modern decor, plenty of space between tables, comfortable seating and is spotlessly clean throughout. It is located near to the cinema near the banks of the R Lot. The service is excellent without being...over fussy. We have visited on several occasions at lunch time and on an evening. The seafood platter is excellent as are the specials which change regularly. My favourite was the swordfish venetian style and the lobster lasagne. My least favourite was the lobster which was griddled and tasted bitter and chewy. The wine list is good and they usually have a good value special white wine at around 12 euros a bottle. We ate here for the first time last week and were greatly impressed by the quality of the fish, the standard of cooking as well as the service. I had the cod which was one of the most perfectly cooked that I have ever tasted!...(There are meat dishes available on the a la carte offerings) In addition to the main restaurant menus there is an oyster bar with an additional tapas menu. There is a very good wine list with reasonable prices. There is a small terrace outside, overlooking the convenient parking but the interior is a surprisingly restrained modern, very comfortable dining room with well spaced tables. Congratulations to everyone involved in this enterprise it deserves to do very well...
We went as a group of 6 to this restaurant as 2 of our party are living close to Villeneuf-sur-Lot and recommended the restaurant. The restaurant is relatively new having opened maybe 12 months ago which may explain the lack of reviews. We all had...very good seafood dishes including a pasta seafood, sea bass, sole and monkfish. All were good although the prune chutney was not great that came with the monkfish. Excellent desserts and a reasonable bill at around 40 Euros each including wine.
beautiful evening to eat outside and friendly waiters. the tapas selection (all five), however, was mostly disappointing, especially for a restaurant that is allegedly specialized in fish. seemingly bought-in standard battery calamari and another fish. not the freshly prepared fish we expected. the garnels are in order, and whitebait, but hard to go wrong. also were surprised that we could not sit and order a drink beforehand, as we arrived before our 7.30 booking.

the entrées were good, but the fish soup «Maison » tasted more like a mushroom soup. Although « maison « was announced on the menu, when I said that I was disappointed, I was told that it was the local fish merchant who had made it (also more surprising that it did not taste like fish!) the Aïoli fish dish was fresh, but the accompanying vegland was a bit. will not go back to a hurry. hung
You would never expect the bar and restaurant décor was so well done form the outside of this place. We arrived on a Monday public holiday and the only disappointment that the lunch menu didn't apply. Apart from that the food and service was top...notch. Really enjoyed the oysters and the sole. My kids' Magret of duck was a tad rare but great taste and tender too. Recommended!
a good menu with some delicious seafood and a very nice bottle wein recommended by the waitress that was helpful and pleasant. but the place was so bright that you felt like you could be interrogated at some point. also the choice. the music did not seem in harmony with the style, not mention price range the restaurant tried to reach. a bit too loud and brash.
we had a nice lunch on the terrace. the plate that on this day moules frites whic we both enjoyed. the fries were crisp and the mountain of the moule full taste. the escapes were both excellent, their the suppe de poisson mine the tabule avec...moules our meal came with a glass wein, great worth on 15.50 euro. service was pleasant and efficient. great value.

This bright and modern restaurant, in one of the best locations in V-S-L, opened in Spring 2014 and is destined to be one of the best two or three in town. Superbly fresh fish, interesting combinations, with vegetables given due prominence, this is talented cooking...and willing service. Brilliant!
