We arrived in Montreux after travelling through France and Italy as our first visit to Switzerland where we found the views of the Alps to be stunning!We met in the Dolce restaurant with friends undicided if we wanted just drinks or meal as well. While me and my friend were waiting for our husbands we asked for the drinks menu. We were seated and left with no service. When our husbands arrived we asked for the food menu, which we were given but still not received the drinks menu that wasn't included in the food one. They did not apply the 20% discount on sur la cart menu items that was on the reservation I made with The Fork. In fact, they asked us nothing about our reservation when we were seated. At the end of the meal, we did not look and only noticed it later. It would have saved us at least 15-20ch. Just be aware you need to be very vocal about your discounts before and at the end of your meal if you reserve online.
We liked Italian food that evening. Our decision to have an outside table at Dolces was a good one. The food, a pasta with seafood was a more then good choice. So much seafood on that plate, and of a fantastic quality. We completed our meal with a good panna cotta.The wine was good. The bill was fair.
Good value with the Fork discount and wasn’t treated any differently. Bread was complimentary so go ahead and eat it! Wasn’t sure what to try off the Fork in Montreux and was very happy with my choice here.

Excellent food, service, and ambiance. The only drawback is that you have the table only for two hours.
