With this restaurant being number 1 on TA and us being in Pont-en-Royans, we wanted to try their daily lunch (at 14 EUR. Too bad, they had already ran out of it by 1 pm. I had the vegetarian menu instead (at 20.5 EUR My...first dish was delicious (goat cheese heated in the oven with walnuts and honey and a small salad. The second dish was a rather small portion of gratin dauphinois with tomatoes and herbs which was also good. As a dessert I had nougat glacé which I didn't like too much. My partner had 2 dishes from the menu (sea food entry and ravioles as main course. Nous avons aussi pu changer de place pour une question d'agrément par rapport aux fumeur.Nous avons pris un apéritif maison fort bon suivi d'un très bon déjeuner à la carte. We had a WONDERFUL lunch here during our wedding week festivities. The chef created a fantastic 4 course meal of salad with local cheese, duck leg with potato puree, fromage frais and a delightful walnut tart. The duck was amazing. The atmosphere was wonderful- outside...on their patio. Afterwards we walked alongside the river and to the beautiful waterfall in Pont-en-Royans. I highly recommend you stop here for a meal! Our wedding was in nearby Villard-de-Lans and we did a driving tour loop with 6 cars to Pont-en-Royans, then to the Grotte de Choranche....a very enjoyable day.
Beau site et très grande terrasse avec nombre de client. Beaucoup de réservation mais pas nous ! On attend ! Puis enfin première serveuse ! Avez vous réservé ?NOn , je vais voir ! on attend , second serveur ! Avez vous réservé ? NOn , je vais voir ! On attend, puis une troisième ! Avez-vous réservé ? NOn , puis la première serveuse revient avec un suivez moi et nous installe ! Merci c'est parfait ! On attends, on attend maîtresse passe et repassse et on attend ! Total 35 mn ! On se casse ! Aucun sourire , aucune attention dommage Cara 30 mètres c'est le contraire.

We had the menu du terroir for €15, which was superb. The trout was perfectly cooked with lovely sauce a l'anethe. Excellent nut tart with caramel sauce. Very friendly welcome, prompt service. Huge range of French and foreign waters! Reasonably priced wine. Good atmosphere with...wonderful views. Highly recommended. Ignore the one negative review, which is completely misleading as the Manager says in his response.
Chambre confortable et propre,superbe vue du restaurant avec une belle terrasse ainsi que la salle avec ses baies vitrées.Personnel très souriants et aimables.Tarif très correct,très bon rapport qualité /prix pour la chambre et le restaurant, mais prix du petit déjeuner un peu élevé.Très bon repas ,nous nous sommes régalés. Je recommande cet hôtel dans ce jolie cadre.
warning never go there impolite waiter, felt as disturbing. not listening and again very impolite when someone warns them, there is a bee next to them, they do not interrupt them. if someone asks you if you are aperol splashing. do not cut them off and tell the “hoo?!” , should get your waiter training
Nous y sommes allés par un jour de pluie et nous nous sommes régalés d'un menu de terroir (17,5€ entrée, plat, dessert). Cuisine travaillée, plats locaux, service agréable, jolie vue. Très bon rapport qualité-prix.

Nous avons très bien mangé de l'entrée au dessert ( la tarte aux noix est très bonne)!! Le restaurant est très bien situé et le personnel est sympathique!
