We came out of the restaurant "the pirate" at 12:30 who did not want to welcome us while the half of the restaurant was empty, inviting us to return more than an hour later. So we went to this restaurant seeing that there were also a lot of free seats and we were also denied. They invited us to go to another restaurant that apparently belongs to them a higher in the village...We went in front of the vernah jules. overall the reception of traders is poor!
It is a beautiful establishment, very well located and welcomes an impressive stream of tourists, especially those who crossed the leman thanks to a boat from the cgn. We've all opted for a bunch of perches. What a disappointment! the nets were too cooked, so cooked that a large part of them were all re-crowded and unpleasantly hard. He thought the cook had forgotten them in his stove. or he can't cook fish. but there's no acceptable excuse.
The restaurant is facing the lake, really nice during day time. In the evening the atmosphere is quiet and we can still enjoy to be closed by the lake. The restaurant specialty is the Perche from the lake with lemon cream, salad and French fries. The dish is around 30 euros and worth to try ! Quantity is more than enough and the taste is really nice. The staff is Professional and friendly.

I've been attending this restaurant for several decades. Certainly everything has already been said about this beautiful establishment but I wanted to pay tribute to its owners and their staff for the ever-present quality during each visit we are never disappointed and the welcome is really very pleasant despite the shots of the holiday period.
ideal location for this restaurant, prefer the tables by the water (the deco inside is a little aging). It is absolutely necessary to reserve, however, a very popular place. The perch nets are not always from the lake and sometimes even frozen, but if you ask you will be told without detour.

very pretty terrace on the lake and efficient service. on the other hand, expensive for just correct dishes. pasty and dry fries. But the baba for dessert was pretty good.
