Tucked away in a corner behind the main street this restaurant is a gem. It doesn't look much but it is well worth looking for. Menu is not vast but it doesn't need to be as the best food is that cooked on the open...fire by the owner. different size of steaks and explanation on the wall of the different ways it can be served was a bonus. We ate here a second time in a week's stay in Sanury as the host and service was excellent not to mention the food. The owner took kindly to our eldest trying out his French and was happy to enter into conversation with him not what you usually get from the French when they are dealing with the English! Especially, don't rely on the facade, pass the door You will discover a relaxed atmosphere in a retro and very friendly bistro frame. The welcome is very warm and the exceptional food. All products are fresh and homemade, from the tapenade offered with the dorade aperitif or the beef side (from 500g cooked by the chef in the chimney, under your eyes, for perfect cooking and tasty accompaniments. Incredible little restaurant tucked away from the main busy square. The owner cooks the main courses himself in front of you on an open fire. Service was impeccable and the food was outstanding. Relaxed atmosphere. The external appearance belies the hidden gem within, don’t be put off! Great value for money, a starter to share, two (good portioned) mains, 2 carafes of wine and 2 cocktails for around €55 each.
This place is tucked away in a corner street near Le Theatre Galli and definitely worth the visit. The owners work hard to please you. I had a wonderful fish dinner and my friends enjoyed the grilled foods over the coals in a large indoor...fireplace. You must try their Cafe Gourmand, truly one of the best ones I've had in France. eating here is delicious. if they want a good steak in sanary sur mer, this is the place to visit. the service is excellent and the owner is very welcoming. it is from the main road from the harbour, but it is a hidden gem, and I am so glad that we have found it that they do not regret eating there.
family meals, quality service, we took some tinkers that were delicious cooked to perfection! the super welcoming and pleasant boss! We'll turn our eyes closed! I recommend it!!
