Travelling around France for business, imagine arriving at our hotel in an industrial zonning at night, expecting not much better then having dinner in a Courte Paille and finding next to the hotel a true gastronomic restaurant the cuisine is made by a 2 stars chef and to be welcomed by the bubbly lady owner who is a real hospitality professionnal. There the food is made only with fresh products and it shows.No industrial cuisine like in so many restaurants nowadays. I recommend the menus which are innovative and delicious, yet at very affordable prices. The wine selection is great and affordable too. When I arrived at the restaurant, the waitress greeted me and she could speak English. Unfortunately, the menu was only in French, so I spoke to the waitress and eaten on a salad with some meat. I have an amuse handle that was nice. My salad was good, but for the price of 26€ I would have expected a little more. The portion was quite small, although they served bread with the salad. Luckily I had a 20% discount coupon form my hotel, which close by. I think it would be a good idea if the restaurant offers a menu in English, as I'm pretty sure more guests come from the hotel and don't speak French.
We found this place on Trip Advisor... he was #1 in the area... when we entered a Wednesday night, there was no one. The lady greeted us like family. She was one of the best hosts I've ever met in France. She explained the menu so well. She shared the salad so we could all eat with ease. The food was as good as among the best I tasted in France over the last 4 years. If you are in the area, please visit... I'll come back if I'm safe here...
I stay close to hotel, but was recommended to this restaurant, what a great restaurant, beautiful Josselin in front of house, sort my Wi-Fi, best food I had in France, and I visit a lot for the store, thanks to Valentin for the Sea Bass, will come back when I am here Cheers.
