We arrived for a reserved large group dinner at 4:45 pm on a Saturday and there already was a line up for the regular part of the restaurant. When this happens, you know the food will be great! And it was. Because this was a large group dinner, we had a modified menu with 4 main courses to choose from. The regular menu is likely much more comprehensive. Any one of the four choices would have been fine for me, but I chose the pork souvlaki platter with a chicken soup starter and a cake with a sugar cream icing (creme a la sucre). When my partner and I were headed up to Québec City, he told me that we were going to have dinner at "Le grec" for pizza. In my mind, I thought he was talking about a typical "casse-croûte" or snack bar off the side of the road. Casse-croûtes are great, but they are everywhere. I have been going to this restaurant for more than 50 years. It was the best restaurant between Montreal and Quebec city, on the old 138 provincial road. The menu covers all kind of appetites, from the meat lovers to the pizza lovers and my personal favorite their salads, and for the life of me I can't reproduce their tomato and noodle soup. The pizza is their main attraction for sure. And what LOVE about the Grec is that you don't get bad surprises! Steady and yummy food all the time.You can even enjoy wine with your meal. This is in the top 5 pizzas I have ever had!!! They are stacked with pepperoni, and cheese. The crust is beautiful and adding a little butter to makes it even better once all the toppings are gone. Can't have pizza here without some fries. Add a coke, and you have yourself the best pizza you will ever have. These people have it figured out. Can't go without seeing the pet sheeps in the back!

Greek restaurant that has been around since 1959. Waitress are dressed with greek costume. But beside all that, they make excellent pizza.Really nice crispy crust. They give you some butter to put on it.The special grec is all dressed with oignons and bacon.It is really thick and there is a lot of mushroom also.Worth a detour
This is my first visit at a greek restaraunt in qeubec.I've been at greek retaurants in the west but this location is by far the best to date.The food-Service-the decor is awesome.For sure i will be back here to eat.Hats off to the owners for a well run restaurant (love this place)
I had fun with my friends in this restaurant, even the waitress changed my meal for free because I didn't like my first choice. I would recommend this restaurant. Only problem is location it's not very convenient. Again good job!
We went here three times during our 3 day stay in Tros-Rivieres. The food was delicious and the staf was very friendly. We really loved going there. A well deserved 5 out of 5.

This place has the best pizza in the Mauricie area. Service is fast and prices are affordable. You have to try it when passing by.
