Wir haben einen Abend im Panoramawintergartenrestaurant des Hubertushofs während eines Aufenthalts im Hotel genossen. Das Restaurant war voll, aber der Service war sehr effizient, sodass wir nie Verzögerungen erlebten. Die lokale Küche (Wiener Schnitzel, Wildragout, Kaiserschmarrn) war von hoher Qualität und wurde von einem großen Dessertangebot unterstützt. Viele Hotelgäste hatten ihren Aufenthalt inklusive Frühstück/Abendessen speziell für das Menü gebucht. Unser Kellner erklärte, dass das Hotel sich in Zukunft noch stärker auf diese Art von Kundschaft konzentrieren wird und den Wintergarten sonst für exklusive Veranstaltungen nutzen wird. We stopped in the afternoon for coffee and cake. Traveling from Garmisch to Fuessen, both in Germany, one must drive through a tiny corner of Austria. The vistas along the way were fabulous. The alps had finally reappeared after several days of rain, so we were totally awed and wanted coffee and cake in a place with a view. The Apfelstrudel was delicious, so were the hot chocolate and coffee.
The restaurant offers a very beautiful view of the mountains. food was OK but overpriced. We had mixed grill and also mix on a skew. Sauces were not that great, did not seem to be fresh. We asked for some bread and they even charged for that, while usually restaurants would offer that for free. They do have good ice cream.
The Hubertushof serve traditional Austria food. The staff were polite, speaking perfect English. We had more than enough to eat with a full menu to choose from. Would recommend you book in advance as it gets quite busy. It was so nice the first time we went, we returned later in the week and was not disappointed.
