A group of us went for an evening meal. The starters in every case were highly praised. We had smoked salmon, roasted quails with honey mostarda and a gratin of leeks, capicollo and pollenta. The next serving was a miss in the case of the...risotto (no spicing for the excellent ingredients), the pork osso buco was average at best it could not replace the mouth feel of a veal osso buco, the gemelli norcina were above average. We have been to this restaurant many times over the last few years. Never disappointed. Excellent food. Creative without being over the top. Delicious. Friendly helpful staff with excellent service. Usually go there as a couple. However, I brought a group of 16 people there...last May and the experience was just as great. Owner Nick is very friendly and personable and gives customers that special attention and service. Fabrizio usually serves us and is always on top of things in addition to being friendly and helpful. Keep it up guys. We continue to come back.
Food was ok but service was terrible. Firstly we asked a waiter about the fish and meat dish of the day and he never returned. Then after a different waiter came to take our order we waited an hour for our main dishes and the...restaurant was not even full. In between we asked a few questions about the food but he didn't know the answer. If that's the service on a quiet Tuesday night I would not want to be there on the weekend. We were pretty disappointed and would not return.
book them restaurant based on tripadvisor reviews, but very disappointed. eating is very average, pasta not good for Italian restaurant, have risotto with lobster served with a tiny lobster dick in the middle of the sea of the risotto. the best meal is served. the restaurant is not. curved, only 1 table of 6 people, few people at the bar, and our table of 4 and it takes forever to get main courses.
We live in Montréal and frequent restaurants twice weekly. Inferno is one of our favourites. Chef owner Nick is passionate about his craft. The food is always exquisite. The service is always excellent (Fabrizio is the best! . The menu changes frequently do there is always...something interesting. Highly recommend.
The staff was fantastic, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and of course, there was no shortage of wine! The antipasto and the ribeye Black Angus were exceptional.
Food was excellent, unique and if you like spice they will live up to their name! Smaller spot in a cool older neighborhood.
