A restaurant at the top! we were in the small room downstairs: cosy and quiet atmosphere since there were only three tables. the service was good: not ultra fast but of quality, with servers aware of the map and having the info in hand. The kitchen is absolutely de-li-cious! I especially recommend as input: the cocotte eggs with foie gras mushroom sauce. I think I've never eaten anything so good. Unfortunately I don't have the photo reflex but the presentation of the Etaiy plates also successful. the restaurant has a partnership with the fork: there is a way to get out of it without paying half of its salary. I've lived on Ile Saint Louis for more than a decade, and there are a few very good restaurants and a few that leave a lot to desire. Francis, the owner of Jules has been around for 20 years and has recently reopened, specializing in Pizza. This may sound clichéd but his son Philippe went to Italy to earn a diploma in the art of making pizza, and it was a good time spent. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated, the prices are affordable, the service friendly - the pizza is extraordinary.
I liked the restaurant the bossu: the welcome is really great and with a nice decor, the restaurant is rather atypical and very rustic and especially spacious and the entrance dressage, the main dishes and dessert are totally beautiful and perfect, the food is so good that I feel good and then enjoy small dishes, waitress and waitresses that are very affordable and generous, and I find very pleasant for me.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. From the warm welcome and luscious foie gras to the delicious glacé, everything was perfect. My fish was cooked expertly, and my husband enjoyed his filet very much. The portions are generous and the wine list is small but thoughtfully selected. We highly recommend Restaurant Jules!
This restaurant is perhaps not as fancy as its surrounding, but it is perfect for dinner! Home made dishes with a good choice of wine = a perfect dinner!
