The cafeteria style restaurant atop the Nufenenpass is a place to spend time and enjoy the awe-inspiring vista from the mountaintop. Indoor and outdoor seating, though the terrace was closed during my July visit. As for the food, it is overpriced but, then again, they schlepped the food up to the mountaintop so there is good reason for some of the pricing. I had the pork cutlet which had substantial bone in it. After removing bone and solid fat, there was not much left. Good fries. Wide selection of food options (but not vast). If not for the view I would knock this down to a "2", but you will remember the view far after the details of the meal are gone.

Heute zum Mittagessen auf dem Rückweg von Tessin. Das Restaurant hat eine einfache Speisekarte (Suppe, Pommes, Würstchen usw.), ist aber sauber, funktional und hat wirklich alles, was man für einen Parkplatz an der Straße braucht. Der Ausblick ist spektakulär und es ist ein großartiger Ort zum Sitzen, Erholen (wenn nötig) von der Fahrt hinauf und sich für die weitere Reise bereit zu machen.
Auf dem Weg in die Jungfrau-Region entschieden wir uns, den Pass zu fahren, anstatt die Tunnel-/Zugoption zu wählen. Im September war es leer, wir hatten die Straße praktisch für uns allein. Der Stopp oben war ausgezeichnet, um eine Pause einzulegen, die Landschaft zu genießen, etwas zu trinken und zu essen. Mit den Seen und schneebedeckten Bergen ist es wirklich Postkartenmaterial. On the way to Jungfrau region we decided to drive the pass rather than take the tunnel/train option. In sept it was empty we practically had the road to ourself.The stop at the top was excellent to take a break and soak up the scenery, grab a drink and something to eat. With the lakes and snow capped mountains it really is postcard material.

Other than the view there 's nothing special about the restaurant, with it 's average machine coffee and pre-packed snacks, the café isn 't overly inspiring, but with that view, it doesn 't matter too much!

Was für eine tolle Fahrt und viele Wandermöglichkeiten mit fabelhafter Polenta zum Mittagessen. Wir werden wieder im Restaurant einkehren und können es auch für Familien empfehlen. Wir trinken einfach einen Kaffee in der Staffel auf dem Nufenenpass. Sieht wirklich alt und einfach sauber aus. Für einen Touristenort ist es ein schlechtes Beispiel.
