Highly recommended by locals, we booked in advance and on arrival, in the middle of no where, we turn a corner and there is a very full car park. This restaurant charges a flat rate for as much as you can eat and drink. You need to be selective in what you choose from the buffet, however there is so much to choose from that this is not a problem. You help yourself to the wine! The regular diners know the tricks! We left very satisfied. The journey took us approximately 3/4 hour from st maxime. Worth the journey as we drove through some pretty countryside. This was a cheap meal and an experience. We (5 friends) were quite surprised at the large buffet selection for entrées and desserts (all-you-can-eat). For a main course, we had Filet mignon with champignons (delicious), and the êntrecote, which was, unfortunately, extremely tough and almost impossible to eat. The vegetable sides of gratin, spinach and baked tomato left nothing to wish for. Service was quick and friendly, and the free water and 1/4 wine included in the low overall menu price of 25€ per person was a nice touch.
Nice location, wide garden, unfortunately plenty of mosquitoes.Large buffet with cheese, salami, vegetables, harring, pastries, enough to fill a person's stomach. Quality was good.Meat-based main courses were excellent: wild boar, duck, beef, and lamb: tender, with little fat and big servings.Unlimited wine (it was horrible, though) and water. Ice cream was terrible.25 euros per person, definitely worth it.
I sent an email to this restaurant asking them if they could kindly let me know if they are able to help us with our Wedding Reception. I got a very rude response from them saying that the only thing that they could help us with is a free litre of water.It's a shame that when you ask a simple question, you get a stupid answer in return.I STRONGLY DON'T RECOMMEND this restaurant.
everything is really good, the setting, the building, the reception, the very copious menus, the managers are of a kindness, the 90 euros for two, the evening meals and breakfast included (entrances, desserts and breakfasts at will. for a weekend in the gorges on the bikes, we even managed to shelter our ten bikes. Thank you all.
beautiful old and authentic bastide with beautiful rooms with impressive fireplaces. very good reception and above all a quality restoration, very generous with choice and a ratio quality price unbeatable. We will return with pleasure to discover this place and this kitchen to our friends.
We often go there for the buffet on Sunday noon. but the owners sold. the new owners will open in December 2017 and will no longer offer the formula at will Sunday noon. It will be a gourmet restaurant. Too bad.
A very nice evening, a competent staff, a surprising tasting menu from beginning to end, we spent a very nice evening for Mother's Days thanks to the chef we loved
I like my food to be fresly made. The little restaurant " le Voute " in the Village is much better, but only open in the evening !
