Got takeaway pizzas.It was a miserable rainy night, with a small number of diners in. Nice looking place. .BUT!The pizzas were second rate, poor, edible and wood fired. They were not made by pizza lovers and it is a waste of a lovely looking, well stoked wood fire (I would love to have in my back garden, if I had a garden big enough).My pizza was the Charcutiere:- it was OK after being doused with the sachet of spicy oil. The ingredients were of cheap quality, the base was nice and thin.Partner's Pizza:- Nice base.....Goats cheese was not even coloured just soft. My family and I visited l'Amarena twice whilst we were in Vendee (We weren't staying in the area either).The staff were incredibly pleasant, helpful and polite on both occasions.Looking at other people's orders, the food looked delicious; I wasn't disappointed.Not only were the service and food great but the general atmosphere was lovely too.We had a wonderful view of the harbour. Even the rainstorm on our second visit couldn't ruin the atmosphere.Overall, it's a fantastic, family-friendly restaurant. Dogs are also welcome for any of those with them!I would definitely recommend l'Amerena to anyone in/visiting Les Sables-d'Olonne.
After a long day of sightseeing in the area we wanted quick, simple and good value quality, that is exactly what we got and very ice it was too. Pizza was thin crispy and cooked exactly as it should be, selection was reasonable and if you like a little spice do try the chili oil it was fabulous. Ambience was great for a midweek night, lots of local customers so always a good sign. Would recommend, saw a few deserts coming out and wish i had a sweet tooth they looked very good.
12 of us visited for my daughters birthday whilst visiting Les Sables, which I’m glad we booked in advance. The portions were generous and the food was amazing; they even added a sparkler to my daughters ice cream and sung happy birthday. The staff understood...and spoke good English. The only small criticism is the wine could have been colder when served but they soon got it chilled. Highly recommend.

We were very late looking for lunch, and other restaurants had stopped serving, but we were welcomed here. The meal was absolutely excellent A burger and chips and a salt imbocca with pasta and a delicious sauce. Followed by Pistache ice cream, beautifully presented and coffee. that and 2 glasses of wine...only €46 served by a charming waitress We will. definately are back
Great location and has a wide selection of pizzas and pasta dishes. My family and I had a pizza for lunch and the food was excellent. This was backed up by very good service from the staff. Recommended. The city itself is beautiful - we were there on a day trip.
The Woodfired pizza are really good, the dough is thin but tasty, nicely burn with good toppings, it's nearly 5 stars for the pizza. But the service is a disaster, so it kill the experience, it's a shame. Avr price: 15€/person
Lovely food and excellent service. Staff speak good English and are very obliging. We had spag bol, lasagne, pizza and salad! Would definitely return!

Large menu of italian food, good service, well tasting meal. Large range of 2,- 4- 6-person tables. Nice view over yacht harbour
We had a 3 course menu for EUR 17 and it was so tasty. The combination of several tastes made us really enjoy our late lunch.
