Restaurant L'Ambiance lived up to its name, The theme is very warm yet fits in with early french architecture and design. The main room is dominated by an inviting fire. Staff are extremely friendly speaking both french and English.The food portions of a good size, and the quality is also great - There is a wide selection of options each night catering to all needs. I would recommend the chicken and leek pie, along with the peppercorn steak.During my visit, they also hosted an enjoyable quiz night!Will definitely be visiting again in the not too distant future.
We popped in to see a band play since we were in the area and decided to eat.The service was excellent and the food was first class.Certainly be back... Highly recommend a visit... PS. Been back tonight for the Chinese evening... Chicken curry was superb....The owner Harry explained we had missed the kitchen... Well it was 9.30 pm. Next thing he arrived with a meal... Wow....2 out of 2.... For Harry's Place...
We had a lovely meal here before heading to a music night at Route 66. The staff are very warm and friendly, the fire was glowing and the fish n chips delicious! There are rooms for overnight stays which makes this a perfect stopover on a journey or if your there for a music night.We will be back!
We stopped off at Resto L'Ambience in Bussiere Poiteven for lunch on our way to Limoges Airport - what a terrific place the food was outstanding, the staff friendly and helpful and we left feeling very special having had good attention throughout the meal. We will definitely call in again.

Visited here a number of times .Excellent service , great food , also is a venue for local bands in adjoining venue , with bar , very polite staff and owner .

This restaurant was taken over by a English couple last year and the food and service is great. Very friendly people and inertesing
