Restaurant Lastiry

I was disappointed by this restaurant. It isn't easy to order off menu (a la carte), and the choices for kids are as usual not the healthiest. We decided to share our plates with the kids. The service was a bit uncoordinated as the servers seemed a bit lost. We kept asking them to leave the kids' plates as we wanted to share and somwone new kept coming by to take it without asking. The portions were actually quite small and the food while good was nothing extraordinary.

We based in a gite outside of Sare for two weeks this summer and dined twice at the Hotel Restaurant Lastiry. There is a spacious dining room and a lovely terrace for dining al fresco. The owner and staff are very kind and welcoming; food is well prepared, tasty, and reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Restaurant Lastiry to any visitor to the region.

Beautiful quaint country style restaurant. Lovely art work displayed. My boyfriend had the miroir de fritons as his entrée. I had the axoa de veau for my plat & he had the souris d agneau. All the food was very tasty. The service was very good, our server was friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed a very good meal here in relaxed atmosphere - attentive staff - menu a little restricted - check outside before you go in that there is something you might like - food quality suberb

All good throughout: nothing bad nothing exceptional and overall a satisfying experience. Good location, chance to eat outdoors and watch the people from under the canopy of leaves.
