Restaurant le Pekin

Probably one of the best Chinese fusion dining in France for the money spent. Dishes had the good balance of keeping some of the original flavors while balancing the needs of a softer palate. We ordered the spicy version of the basil beef which did not disappoint. Chicken with Thai curry was slightly confusing as there did not seem to be anything Thai about it. But still a rather decent dish, but could be renamed. At the end, the place is super light on the wallet and good on taste. Restaurant was rather packed when we were there in peak summer, so service was slow. But did not affect our overall experience.

Je suis d'Amboise et de Paris, j 'ai vécu en Chine et suis une grande fan de la cuisine asiatique. J'ai testé plusieurs fois ce restaurant sur plusieurs années, quelle déception à chaque fois. Certains plats valent le coup : soupe pékinoise, poulet au basilic sur plaque chauffante, d'autres sont juste immondes : riz loc lac baignant dans une sauce gluante avec salade abîmée, d'autres très moyens : nems etc....le cadre est bien trop sombre pour s'y sentir bien. Je ne vois pas de bonne adresse asiatique à Amboise. Point positif : c'est bien servi et le personnel est ok.

After 12 days of french cooking was looking for a little taste of Americana- Chinese style. The location is off the main street, but well worth it. Owner (husband & wife) have been here for 30 yrs so they are doing something right.and were super nice. Food was served hot and was tasty. For two people I would recommend an appetizer, two main dishes and one rice and you should be satisfied. Would highly recommend if you want a break from the french cuisine and they have an English menu and do take away as well..

Abbiamo cenato qui una sera durante il nostro soggiorno ad Amboise. Veramente buono! I proprietari sono molto cordiali e consigliano i piatti migliori. Parlano poco in inglese; il servizio è comunque ottimo. I prezzi sono un pó più cari rispetto al solito ristorante cinese italiano. Consigliato! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Accueil OK par contre la femme qui fait le pied de grue c'est assez oppressant. Déco sombre et manquant de convivialité. Nourriture sans plus. On a mangé beaucoup mieux dans des buffets à volonté. On y retournera pas même si les prix sont assez correct

Malgré que la salle soit un peu sombre et que les places soient un peu étroites, nous avons passé un bon moment.Plats copieux et bons.Prix très raisonnables.Cela change des multiples buffets.Les propriétaires des lieux sont également sympathiques.

Restaurent dans le qu'elle je vais depuis toute petite et que j'aime toujours autant j'y vais régulièrement et je me régale toujours autant je ne me lasserais jamais de se restaurant j'y retournerais encore et encore

Rien a redire, tous est fait maison viande super bonne et que dire du poisson pour quelqu'un qui n'aime pas vraiment le poisson je me suis régale avec la fondue saté. Seul bémol la carte de dessert et très limité. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Tres bon restaurant chinois. Soupe pékinoise et salade thaï au top! Les gérants sont très sympathiques.
