Restaurant Le Point G

A warm welcome and quietly shown to a table. Sunday lunch and a la carte and three set menus available plus childrens menu. We chose a menu at 48Euros. Amuse bouche promptly arrived then a warm veloute of fish soup served in a tea cup/saucer. Very tasty lobster filled raviolis came with a fish sauce which was mopped up with bread. We looked forward to the lamb pre sale but were slightly disappointed. It was tender, nicely cooked, (I chose rose) but I could not taste the seaweed to make it any different. The cheese course was simple- a triangle of camembert on a slice of apple enclosed in a mille fler pastry case and cooked in the oven until just runny with a dressed nut salad-simply deliciou...

This, quite up market restaurant is pure quality and one of the best kept secrets in St Broladre. The dining room although a little old fashioned in a quaint way is very elegant with a lovely ambiance.The staff are very attentive and happy to help with making the right choice. The food when it arrives is a visual sensation, and quality taste to match. The wine list is very comprehensive with something for every taste.A wonderful all round experience we look forward to repeating.

On first appearance Le Point G looks dated, and in the middle of no where. However, get past that and you will find beautiful food and wine. We had a five course meal and can honestly say there was nothing I didn't like. The staff were happy to explain the menu in English and their service was top notch.

We've eaten here many times, and for the second time chose to have our Christmas lunch here. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful, as always. The ambiance was relaxed. We'll definitely be back.

Restaurant très agréable, nous avons pris le Menu Plaisir, c'était très bien, entrée fraîche, plat copieux, dessert léger et Bon café ! Service impeccable... On recommande
