Living in rural France is hard to find excellent food that is not just pasta or cheese. By the end of the season it was a set menu. We asked ourselves on the phone if we could have something else and they were accommodated without foot. We had salmon, beef fillet and chocolate fond. It was the best food I had here in the 3 months of life. The interiors were perfect, the waiter Michel was fanatic. Hat of the cook and the food was great! Can't be asked for a better meal. You really know what they do!
Had dinner here on a Saturday night and really enjoyed it. Restaurant is nice and at home also with staff very attentive. My steak was more moderate than rare, but very tasty and other dishes we had the same. The wine list is wide, but... we were with local Savoyard producers and were not even disappointed. Definitely worth a visit, but probably best to book in advance.
Standard reception in a very pretty room, 1 single menu, light in the servings and when you ask for a dessert, we are answered: the kitchen is closed!!!! too gumted, too expensive, too little on the plates. lives on his reputation with a very salty addition!!!!

on my three stays with full board at the green val I have not once been disappointed! Originality, a superb presentation and tasty!
