It was for us a weekend in love, and we had taken advantage of a special offer that included two days in half board and a massage. We didn’t know the hotel at all, but the location at the hohwald is ideal, near Obernai, from selestat or strasburg, yet in the middle of nature, at 700 meters above sea level, with lots of possibilities of walks on marked paths. as I am a vegetarian, finding this type of establishment is undesirable. Upon arriving, once overcame the first shock of the "free university of samadeva", which surprises with its secty side of illuminated, one discovers a very beautiful building a little debridled, nestled in a green setting, on the heights, quiet. the landscape is idy...
It is in a place full of history unfortunately, a splendid and magnificent place, a superb entrance, that the so-called free university of the samadeva. It is also in this place that there are trainings in personal development, numerous, varied and diverse so that everyone can find their account of tears, ill-being and better to be after taking another training that will ensure the depressed that it will go better but for that, it will have to go to the drawer of course. here, gourmet food but only vegetarian food. I went several times to the hermitage at the hohwald - outside of the many internships that go there, otherwise there is no room - having the chance to enjoy a table is squarely out in the beautiful season - to breathe the good air pure that there is up there - either in the harmonious view of the forest that surrounds this amazing place, in the rich history, in the calm and atmosphere cooking fresh, organic, or even biodynamic foods - nowhere else does the potatoes seem as good to me, frankly! - and the dishes, all vegetarians - even in the sausages are vegans - are tasty, scented, beautifully presented, gracefully served by a discreet and very smiling staff. Too bad that the restaurant is only occasionally opened, during seminars! We were lucky enough to have lunch during our trip to Hohwald! and we were filled! Paradise for vegetarians like us! very warm and smiling welcome. staff available and very attentive. high-end organic vegetal cuisine. There is a unique menu that is offered, but what a menu! We have enjoyed ourselves with a pear tartare accompanied by a small mustard seed vinaigrette (among others!), a lasagna with absolutely divine vegetables and a cota panna with red fruits and creamy and melting coulis! For everything. 15 € !!! what more? ! the alcoholless beverages offered are also delicious. this restaurant is really not like other...
We were looking for a vegetarian restaurant in the region and fell by chance on this establishment. we had read reviews and were warned for the somewhat sectarian side of the place but nothing embarrassing (and it's not at all our thing yet), only a few books at the entrance: a very warm welcome, impeccable service and in the end a very good time. The vegetarian menu is unique but very good. No alcohol but being close to the wine route, you can catch up without too much problem at this level ); the price is also a very good surprise, about 15 euros the menu per person, entry/plat/dessert. The service was very fast, even no need to ask for the carafe of water (from source!) or bread (fresh)!....
everything is excellent. The atmosphere is very friendly and the abundant and delicious dishes. vegetarian cuisine exclusively but highly gastronomic. very good value quality price . I recommend it to all those who want to feed themselves differently and take care to think about what they eat.
We were walking around and we started looking for food. .and at 1 p.m. we opened the door of this seminar and training place. We were kindly greeted and had a nice vegetarian meal, including a chocolate cake and almonds without milk and gluten-free! Thank you!
I had the opportunity to stop at the restaurant in the fence. very nice, organic and vegetarian cuisine (it is rare). The staff is dedicated and smiling. A nice moment. Thank you. (Good to know: no alcohol on site, but the wine route is close!)
in a beautiful place with lots of beautiful walks to do! with regard to the hotel our room was not very clean (3 spiders found), old carpet, decoration not at all current ! but fortunately we were very welcome!
