passing through the town of guillaumes coming from the route des grandes alpes before continuing towards castellane and the gorges of the verdon, we stop in this restaurant in the village square, with tables outdoors and quite frequented also by locals, which is always synonymous that you eat well. In fact we were not wrong, single dish burgers fries and salad, all good at reasonable prices (consider that we are still in france and is pretty expensive). I recommend it if you like me are passing and want to make a short and pleasant stop.
a correct kitchen, no more, and without pretense. We can stop there on a trip to the alps to make a step. But that day, the service was below everything! the glasses were dirty, at least very badly wiped and full of whitish traces. for children's fruit juices it could pass but it was really very unpleasant for wine glass. I kindly ask the waitress to change it to me: she takes it and doesn't bring me a glass. After a while, I ask her a drink and she'll bring me a little dirty drink! Besides, the glass rosé was really more than anything.
during our journey in the alps, we are stopped in this biker relay. the kitchen remains traditional but quite correct overall. I took a tartar (prepared) I was a little scared but it was good. on the other hand, not loving the fries (and yes it happens) I asked for the accompaniment of the day in the case of the canellonis, which was kindly refused to me, short a tartare with salad and hio surpirse during the service, my tartare was finally served with canellonis (thanks patron)
I happen to happen in this little village of the provenza with some friends, the place is very simple but in the menu no! we took quail with polenta and it was really very good and a hamburger with chips with cooked meat almost to perfection. the price is right for the place in you
