A group of 5 of us ate here on the last night of a week long ski trip. The food was great, and there was lots of it. Even better was the atmosphere. Just like some of the other reviews mention, it's like being in someone's living room, with great food and an even better host! Throughout the dinner the owner was very attentive and nothing was ever too much trouble. This restaurant is casual dining in the most welcoming atmosphere with delicious food and hospitality as if you're in a French family's home. It was fantastic value, especially for the area and all four of us dining thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The cooking was really authentic and unpretentious, the portion sizes were very generous, the menu was in French, English and Russian and the service was lovely. If you are staying in Brides Les Bains I highly recommend you visit this little restaurant. It's located just off the Main Street in a shopping centre, there is only enough space for about 16 persons so you need to book in advance, just pop in and reserve your table. The food is very good and very reasonably priced, we had 3 courses plus wine for under €50. The owner is very friendly, speaks good English and offered us a free Apero, free digestive and even gave all the women flowers. Have used this restaurant a lot on skiing visits both for a lunch outside in the sun and at night. The food is always excellent, fresh and served very quickly with a smile from the lovely lady that runs it. I rate it very highly and always look forward to going there. It is just off ski run in and a great place for a lunch stop.
My wife and I had a very good meal Soup, Diots and Tarte Myrtiles. Everything was made ro perfection And you actually had the feeling of dinning in a private home. To the meal we had a nice bottle of Pinot Noir Price for all of it 70€
We had a delightful evening here while we were staying in Brides-les-Bains. The owner was lovely and extremely accommodating, and the food was fantastic! It is a very small place, so make sure you reserve a table!
