My wife took me here about 13 years ago. We did the whole thing...took the ferry over, climbed the steps in frigid weather from the river front to the main street. Had a great time. . Did it again a few years later. It's been nearly 4 years since we were able to go to QC due to the, dare I editorialize, Covid hysteria...but dang! it was worth the wait. We ate at 3 sensational restaurants, and L'Intimiste was tops. My wife remembered Martin, the owner, from her first visit (before me! 18 years ago. Our wait staff, predominantly William, was world class. Attentive, helpful, friendly. Very beautiful and cozy little restaurant. The waiters were very kind and quite amicable. The food was nicely plated and provided quite the array of flavors.Only minus regarding it, is that I personally enjoy strong taste of goat cheese but it tasted relatively mild, but I do enjoy how it would please others more. Their deer tartar was pretty good too. I highly recommend this restaurant.Parking: There were many spots where it was possible to park the car, mind you we were there at around noon which might explain such thing, but either way it was no issue.
This restaurant is a gem. The cuisine and service were both extraordinary. The dishes had a surprising complexity of flavors French traditional with certain Asian influences. We are so happy we set aside an evening to take the ferry over to Levis and visit this wonderful restaurant. Merci, Guillaume!
