After eating out the past two weeks, I do not hesitate that this is the best restaurant in Cairns. The service is excellent; the servers move with grace and efficiency, precise in their recommendations, cheerful and genuine. The food is truly perfectly done. Gently flavored and perfectly cooked in a way that honors the original fish or vegetable, letting them marry with each other for an excellent savory experience. Presentation is attractive and appetizing, not showy or excessive. The salmon, steak, young vegetable flavors all made for the best meal we've had in Australian travels. Don't miss the desserts either! The creme brûlée is delicate and full of rich flavor. Truly an excellent dinin...
Took at friend here for her birthday lunch....She ordered the fish and prawns ($45.00) I ordered the salmon ($35.00) both meals were excellent, then as we had the lunch two course special we had a glass of wine, bread and desert included. You can get a lunch for as little as $20.00, one course. You do need to be aware that some meals as ours above have an additional cost. The dessert creme brûlée was too large and more a custard...with strawberry jam on the bottom....which is not needed, however tasty. This restaurant is in a lovely location near the marina at Cairns
Great seafood, had a very nice piece of salmon and Moreton Bay bug. The risotto was nice but incredibly rich. They have a sensible kids menu-real food instead of defrosted chicken nuggets-much appreciated as so often offering for kids is junk food even at otherwise great restaurants.

We had lunch here and tried their lunch specials which included a main wine combo. Both the seafood and chicken dishes that we tried were very tasty. Very reasonably priced and the service was excellent.
This strip of restaurants is very tourist driven. But if you want a quiet dinner pick this one. The food is as good as anywhere but the atmosphere is more sedate and staff are efficient.
Food good in general - plenty of seafood on the menu but the execution wise ... cannot quite put a finger on the type of cuisine. The web site claimed to be Japanese and French.
