We went to celebrate my birthday as well as my son's. We knew the place already, since their Bill Spéciale pizza is the best, bar none. But this time, although we're not really regulars, they really managed to exceed our expectations. by far-: We had mentioned that we preferred a booth, but the 4-seaters were all taken, so we agreed to take a smaller booth, which was adequate anyway, although a bit tight. But when the waitress noticed one of the larger ones was available, she offered us to move. Something we don't see often in any restaurant nowadays- We had told them about the birthdays, so they served 2 gigormous pieces of cake. for free-! After a long drive,we finally made it to our hotel and we where famished! The front desk recommended Mustangs as the best place around for pizza. So I called in and spoke with Leonie who was very friendly yet efficient. The pizza arrived in less then 20 minutes, very fast. For about 25$ we got a Medium pizza that was stacked with delicious pepperoni and stringy mozzarella cheese. The crust, although a little thin to our taste was full of flavour. I definitely recommend this pizza over any chain restaurant, you get great value for a quality pizza made with fresh ingredients and served promptly with a smile
You're driving in from Montreal and want to stop for an inexpensive meal before going into Quebec City? Why not try the Mustang Restaurant, just a minute or two from the bridge on the south side of the St.Lawrence River. I stopped at this restaurant for an eleven-inch "pizza napolitaine:" total cost including taxes: 14,89$. The crust was crisp, the pizza was piping hot and the service impeccable. I like to go to places that don't belong to a chain of restaurants. If you're like me, you'll love this place which has been open since 1967.
This is a great place for pizza. Just be aware that you will want to take it out and not eat in. the place is dated and no real airconditioning. Close to my hotel. Pizza was different than what I am used to but I liked it a lot. I ordered petite size and it was huge! Lots of ingerdients piled on. Crust thinner in the middle and thick on the edges. Very tasty! Service friendly. Price typical.
Went for a bite on the way back Montreal, was happy for the quality of food. The kids enjoyed the onions rings. The garlic bread was very average. The pizza was great (a bit too salty because of the pepperoni)
We ordered the sausage pizza and it was different from what we are used to but very tasty. The people were friendly and gave us good service. We went back the next day.
