I'm not sure why this restaurant has received so many positive reviews. We were staying at L'Ancrage Bed and Breakfast just over the bridge from this restaurant and it was recommended to us by the owner. Before we entered the restaurant we came across two signs informing us that they take cash only. After we were seated at a table we were told that there was no soup, no dessert, and only one type of beer from Nova Scotia. We were OK with that and ordered a pizza, which was not bad. Throughout the dinner we listened to the same Spanish guitar music repeated over and over. Dinner at this restaurant was probably one of the worst dinner experiences we have had.
My wife and I decided to make the 45 minute drive to this hidden jem. Chez 5 Etoiles in St. Louis has by far the best Seafood pizza in NB. We sat outside in the screen room and were greeted by the owner shortly after we arrived. I ordered the seafood pizza and my wife had a caesar salad and the spaghetti bolagnaise. We enjoyed a few draft beers and our meal was absolutely amazing. It is well worth the trip from Moncton. The owners were very friendly and the service was superb. It had been a while since we had visited, but we will definitely be back much sooner this time!
It is the only proper restaurant in St Louis de Kent, but that doesn't stop Cinque Etoiles from being a delight. It is much more than a place to stop for pizza, though the seafood pizza which is the house speciality is one of the best things you can imagine eating. The manager is friendly and welcoming and the quality of the food is much more sophisticated than the rustic setting might suggest. They are open on Sunday evenings and, for rural NB, quite late which is a bonus if you have been sightseeing in the nearby Kouchibouguac National Park.
We ended up at the restaurant randomly. The waiter told us the seafood pizza was really good so that's what we ordered.It was out of this world. My father is a fisherman therefor I am use to eating fresh seafood, The seafood was fresh and delicious. I also had a ceasar salad that was equally delightful. Thanks for a great dining experience- we will definitely return :)
We were told that the pizza was good and they did not disappoint. However we had to sit outside in the gazebo because the restaurant was unbearably hot. The server was a bit curt but professional. The four of us had pizza, which were very good. The cost was the issue at $80-90 a couple. Problem is there is little choice in this small community.
Good food well presented at a reasonable price. Had a little glitch with the reservation booked for 7.30 but unfortunately no table reserved. Good service even if the waiter was run off his feet. The terrace was well situated but very much in need of a lot of TLC . We would be very surprised if someone doesn't have an accident very soon.
It was late, lucky for us The blue Chez 5 Etoiles sign was lit and guiding us to this wonderful eating restaurant. We did in fact have the BEST SEAFOOD PIZZA.Our server Ruberto Duran (I think an alias) was the best, very funny and yet very cordial. My grand daughter had the best very small glass of chocolate milk ever.
really a great place! fantastic seafood pizza with fresh scallops and lobster. very nice owner who makes all food fresh and has a great sense of humor.
Was late getting to my hotel and phone for a quick meal to be delivered. Less then 25 minutes the pizza arrived and was as the name states Excellent.
