On our last day in Paris we were looking for something good to eat, so we asked our Air BNB hostess for a recommendation and they beat this restaurant, were so grateful they did! It is a great restaurant with a great environment, friendly staff and great food. It is good for a family meal or challenging meal for 2. There was also a dog walk in the restaurant that was nice to see (not affected by the dog, it is friendly, clean and very good behavior! . Can't remember his name, but we were served by a man who was incredibly friendly and even took his time to translate the menu and explain every article in detail, he even gave us free recordings of his family-made alcohol. I live and work in this neighborhood so I've been to Pourquoi pas for all kinds of visit, professional, between coworkers, with family... I like the cozy decoration, plus they have a terrace which is even better whenever the season you go. The food is refined in which you can taste the effort of the chef. Although if you're in a hurry, opt for the plat du jour, otherwise it'll be some waiting time, even if it's worthwhile.
The owner came out and chatted with us a lot about our travels, recommended dishes for us and gave us a free appetizer of foie gras. After our meal we stayed and talked about where we went next and were provided with recommendations for our next city. The atmosphere was warm, people were friendly and the food was AMAZING!!
The dishes are original, imaginative and very attractively presented. It's a pleasure to look at them and they are tasty to eat. More expensive than other restaurants in the area but worth the price for a special occasion.

Good food with a Nice environment. Service is done by two friendly girls of which one is the owner together with the brother who is the cook. Would advice others to eat here for sure.

Excellent food, friendly service, decent prices. I can only recommend this place even if you have to drive a few kilometers to get there.
