This was a good option for dinner a good range of options for starters, salads, Austrian traditional mains, and some special options to grill your own food. The beef tartar starter was good, a well prepared mix of flavors, served with capers, pickles and...chili pepper and toasted bread. The mixed salad was good, a traditional mix of salad, potato salad, carrots and cabbage. The oven baked potato with mushrooms was a massive portion of two potatoes. There is a good range of wines by the glass, beers and other drinks. Service was good, and value was reasonable.
we were happy to be booked here on holy evening, but we said that the table is needed for a certain time. no problem for us, but if the service of one course we ordered lasted an hour. I was worried we didn't get out in time. I have expressed my concern and I have been told that it is no longer necessary, since there was no time pressure now, we concentrated on the meal. I must say that eating was great, my steak was sublime, the only problem that most of us have is the time it needed to serve. we were not in the hurry to be somewhere else, so no problem
the terrace area was completely booked and we were offered in the barn part of the restaurant. that is a different atmosphere, very well made and we really enjoyed. the menu has traditional Austrian cuisine, but the speciality is grilled meat and baked potatoes. both dishes we ordered were good, but the young kalbs was absolutely the winner with the baked kartoffel. the dessert was also very good. the personal cared for us, even though they had really packed the terrace on the other side.
this talbach chick is located on a hidden place in schladming. it is not easy to find. after crossing the bright, they enter the square. we where it is really hot in summer and they can feel cold from the stream. the price for lunch...and dinner a liar bit high price, but they get really very good and tasty eating. the service is very friendly and friendly. what I can recommend is fish very good
