Restaurant Taurerwirt

We have visited Kals four times in the last five years, always stay in the same guest house only 100m from Taurerwirt. We eat there almost every evening the food is good, the staff is friendly, and the prices are more reasonable than you expect what looks like an expensive hotel. The house wine is very tasty and cheap again. The food is a mixture of traditional Austrian and interesting variations. We have no concerns to recommend the Taurerwirt.

We had our Christmas dinner with the family here. We were greeted with a personal greeting card. The service was attentive, friendly and very fast. The seven-headed dinner was amazing in its simplicity, rhythm and imagination at the same time. The kitchen staff really knows what they're doing. Wine pair was great, licqour if you would like to give as thank you. Would come back.

Visited in a group, pre-booked by our accommodation. Service was friendly, helpful and attentive, reasonable menu choice of traditional food, and reasonable quality. Enjoyed our visits for both Lunch (on spec) and dinner (booked), nice atmosphere and also a nice terrace if the weather permits. Reasonably priced too.

We were nearby and arrived for dinner. The food was excellent and so was the service. The waitress also treated the rather complicated billing of nine customers in a very friendly and professional way.

Regionales Essen mit einer guten Wendung. Sehr schönes und gemütliches Ambiente. Angemessene Preise und eine gute Auswahl an frisch zubereiteten Gerichten.
