This place was totally unassuming, but crowded with locals and the menu board suggested a number of local specialities. My husband had the bread soup with dogfish, which sounds awful but turned out to be wonderfully tasty. My codfish a Braz was equally flavourful. I had a glass of very cheap wine which turned out to be much better than I had a right to expect. If you’re looking for something authentic, without frills, this is the place.
Nice little resturant with a helpful happy staff. Great cappuccino and we chose warmed cheese sandwiches. Perfect for the day. They offered other sandwiches and some delectable looking rolls croissants deserts. On the way from the chapel of Bones to the Roman Ruins so a nice stop. As an added bonus very clean WC. Well worth the stop.
Bom local para refeições rápidas, mas caseiras. Tem sopa, tostas, várias sandes, quiches, lombo assado, hambúrguer,etc. Serve também pastelaria e alguns doces regionais. Pessoal simpático. Preços em conta. Muito movimentado à hora de almoço.

Good coffee and delicious pastries! Pastel de nata was perfectly crisp outside and creamy inside. Not to mention a croissant!
