Restaurante Adega do Albertino

Arrived at the restaurant to be told in a very short manner to stop at the door, not even a good afternoon or how are you. Not sure if it was the owner, but if we hadnt invited friends for lunch we would have turned round and left right there. Waiters were not very friendly, maybe burnt put after a long summer. Appetisers were disappointingly small, cheese plate for example consisted of 6 small slices of cheese. Main courses were well cooked and tasty though. However, sabores dos amigos just up the road is a better option at similar price if you want delicious portuguese cooking.

We had lunch there today and were really impressed with the quality and taste of the all the food. We normally don't eat the little dishes/appetizers restaurants here normally bring to the table, but we eat all of the items they left on the table (about 6 plates of smoked meats, cheeses, pickled peppers, whelk salad, polvo, etc. , all so yummy. Then the main dishes (steaks, grilled fish/squids/shrimps were soooo good and large portions. We ordered dessert too and that those were also great. We will definitely be back.

Not exactly on the bitten track, with fantastic food (try goat in red wine, octopus on roof shingle or slowly roasted lamb), friendly and attentive service. Be aware it fills up quickly, even in the week. There is a good selection of wines too, and you may want to ask for a doggy bag even if you order 1/2 portion.

Muito bom restaurante com muito boa comida e um serviço 5*... o ambiente também é muito acolhedor e bem decorado com motivos antigos. Aconselho muito a que venham. Foi a primeira vez e voltarei com certeza. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

comida e bom serviço. mas pagar €30 por um requeijao, um entrecosto e um jarro de vermelho?! não pode mais ser comido em portugal sem ter que pagar o preço turístico? Há melhores opcoes nas proximidades.

Comida extraordinária, espaço icônico. Coma-me de forma qualitativa e quantitativa. doses generosas, muitas entradas. pode ser caro com tantas entradas. mas vale sempre a pena!

Delicious Portuguese food. Great meat and fish, lots of sidedishes to each menu. Danger: you might end in a food coma. PS try the honey almond pork rips, they are phenomenal!

The food was great. We had polvo and posta mirandesa and both were excellent. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is cosy. Their main dessert was also excellent Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Returned after 2 years and this time we went for goat dishes. Now I’m fighting a food coma. :
