In small country places, my favourite way to discover a genuine restaurant where the locals go is to ask someone who lives there all year round. The cleaning lady of the house where we were staying recommended this place. Not one tourist in sight. That 's...good news. Among the house specials, I recommend the small squid house preparation and their famous beef espetada (skewer). As the quantities served are generous, I suggest you share one of each and that will be more than enough. House wine is local and very good. Service is particularly friendly. Cheap prices.

a really old, modern restaurant with the aromen and the recipe of the old tante. is not for daily eating (like Mediterranean meal is heavy) but for special occasions will be perfect. the variety is not long, but, believe it, the meals are delicious and much. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
if they are looking for real Portuguese homemade food, this is the place to visit. the restaurant is run by a local family, not going rushing and expecting fast service, but expect amazing traditional aromen.
