Horrible experience My girlfriend and I drove to Praia dos Carneiros from Porto de Galinhas and decided to park the car in the Bora Bora Restaurant, they do have some good infrastructure for parking (for BRL per person), and they give you a...pass where you have access to the facilities (restaurant and bathroom). We sat at one of the tables close to the beach, which by the way is beautiful indeed, and up until then our experience was quite pleasant, even though there was a lot of people there. In the restaurant, they also have some loud speakers where I wished they were playing music, but many times the employees of the restaurant would speak on the speakers about different sales, promotions...

After visiting some friends at Praia dos Carneiros, we went for a late lunch to the nearby Bora Bora restaurant which, we were told, was located in a very attractive setting, including a very large natural swimming pool (piscina). In a quick afternoon at Carneiro's Beach, I chose this place due some recommendations of some local people. But I did not have a good experience. The problem is not the high prices they charge, but the tourist exploration approach that they adopts. They charge...you for everything. If you want to sit in a cushioned chair, you pay. Even if your dother wants to take a photo in front of a wall-painting, you should pay too. They charge high prices and create expectations for something they are not able to deliver: high quality services. Bora Bora was indicated trough the internet and also by the gas station professional. Place very well organized and clean. You have to pay to get in and stayed at restaurants area. But for my surprise there is no place at the beach in...front of the restaurant. You have to leave the Bora Bora area to reach the beach and also walk a little bit to right in order to find a very beautiful beach place. The beach at Bora Bora was beautiful. One of my favorite things about it, is that you can have your meal without people trying to sell things to you from the beach. It was fun to do an excursion from here and have a table...to come back to. We were here during the holidays and it was very busy. Food and drinks take a lot of time to come to you, but when they do, they are delicious. Sometimes the servers, I feel, are very overwhelmed by the amount of tables they are serving. The beach was interesting. Go early and the tide is low and you can walk far out into the water and it’s not deep. In the afternoon the tide come up and the beach is gone. You can still enjoy the water. The snorkeling is...not worth it, but the water is clean. For the service of the restaurant, it was quite bad. Extremely slow and it seemed like the waiter was sleepwalking. Food was ok, not bad, but not good. Expensive for Brazil and what you get. There’s a per person charge to enter. Kids are not charged.
It is a beach club that charges you for a VIP area with nothing special. It's specialized to receive big groups of tourist coming from boats. The only good thing about this place is its location next to the beach. As to the rest, you pay high prices for average food and a terrible service. It’s mostly for tourist groups that wouldn’t look for other options.
