This restaurant used to be a regular visit everytime we were in the Algarve. Recommended by local friends you always got a good meal amongst locals. Upon arrival this year we initially thought the restaurant had had a spruce up and been redecorated , new furniture etc. However, we now find it has new management and how I wish the old ones would come back. Gone were the locals. Up went the prices and the service left a lot to be desired. We were brought a plate of olives and discovered a stone on there with a half eaten olive. We called the waiter over who shrugged removed it and said that happens in the kitchen. No attempt was made to replace, even though we were charged for them and we real...
What an amazing experience this was! We were here with our three kids and were sitting outside next to the market. The best food and most authentic place where we have eaten in the Algarve in 10 days. The clams were already out of this world, but the shrimps are outstanding and the best I ever had. When I gave a nice tip as a gesture of my happiness, the whole team got excited and we were offered some nice port of the house. The service was so kind and real and the chef cook and owner comes to your table to see if you like the food. The value for money is amazing. We will come back for sure!!! Thanks for giving us the authentic Loule feeling!
So sad! This used to be our favorite place to eat in Loule. Now with the new owners it has changed completely. I really felt ripped of when we received the clams “at market Price” for 19€ for a starters portion. I asked for an alvarinho wine and they did not have such wine and they recommended me another one… when we got the bill, it was the most expensive one on the card. Also the food went down in quality big time, while the prices went also up big time….so unfortunate that those authentic restaurants disappear for commercial ones. Dear TripAdvisor please adjust the € mark…. It’s now €€€ at least.
Visited this restaurant, as a family of four, on two occasions during our stay. Fantastic fresh fish and meat in an authentic Portuguese restaurant. We were the only tourists in the restaurant on both occasions. Great value, great service and lovely food. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This is where the locals eat good quality, fresh and cheap fish. The atmosphere is simple but engaging. And it is guaranteed that you will have a memorable meal, if you like the traditional portuguese cuisine
Food was good, the place is nice, what you would expect from a typical Portuguese restaurant. The only let down was the staff forgot to put our order in so had to wait 40 mins.

Typical familyrestaurant We had Cataplana and it was delicious Fresh and tasty! Desserts are homenade. Friendly and welcoming service. No credit cards.
