We met Chef Jhon while waiting in line to buy tickets to a Nacional game at El Estadio. He was the nicest guy we met in Colombia (which is saying a lot as this country is filled with generous friendly people) and helped us buy our tickets. He told us about his restaurant and we felt like we must go the next day. We showed up and were greeted with the warmest welcome. He sent us out grilled paisa cheese that was simple yet absolutely delicious. Then we had a filet with bacon wrapped asparagus that was honestly one of the most tender filets I have had in my life. This place closes at on Sunday. Also, we went to this place twice in the last weeks and times they didn't have my favorite appetizer: their grilled provolone. I'm really disappointed with this lack of organization of this place but NOT surprised, we're in CO after all Update: Nov they had their grilled cheese with a sweet red sauce that my fiancee thought was strawberry based. The cheese seemed to be grilled with butter which was excellent. I hope the next time we return, they provide the same menu. Please support this restaurant, as you can see from my photo, the restaurant was totally empty at about pm on a Saturday.
Mama Santa, as good as any steak house in the USA. Always the best steaks tender , cooked just the way I ask.. . Never disappointed.. when in Medellin and you have cravings for a steak this is the place.

This restaurant has nice layout and cosy environment but the food is just regular and pretty high priced as you can get the same quality elsewhere for 20% less in Sabaneta.
Nice place but regular service and food. The service and ambientation to celebrate special event is far from good; the food could be be better.
My friend lives near there and we meet up once every time I am in town. This trip, I went for the ribs and they were excellant.

My New York steak was beautifully cooked. Loved the finca setting, very relaxing. Try the limonada de vino tinto.
