Restaurante Moderno 1

Located just off the main avenue leading to the city centre,this restaurant has a tipico' feel but a modern ambience (as the name captures). Excellent,friendly service and very good food. I went for the febras' pork loin steaks (salad and chips).My wife opted for...the salted cod (bacalhau) with boiled potatoes.At the time I remember thinking should have gone for that Very reasonably priced.It was lunchtime,so we just had mineral water. But,as in other restaurants in this part of Portugal, I'm sure the wine would have been both high quality and relatively cheap. Recommended.

the restaurant is located directly on the main street that leads to the city center, and has a tipico feeling, but a modern ambiente (like the name catches). excellent, friendly service and very good eating. I went for the 'fembras' pork steaks (salad and chips). my wife chose the salted cod with boiled carrots. at the time I remember thinking that "so would have gone for that!' very cheap. it was lunchtime, so we just had mineral water. but, as in other restaurants in this part of portugal, I am sure that the wein would have been both high quality and relatiw cheap.
