Restaurante Sebastián was a delightful surprise for dinner within the medieval city walls and just within the shadow of the Iglesia de Nuestra. Guests at the Parador, Hotel Obispo and other old town establishments would be well advised not to overlook this culinary gem lying right at their doorstep. The cod with tomato sauce and peppers was the freshest and best prepared this diner has ever enjoyed; other standout dishes included monkfish with shrimp, leg of lamb, and crab salad. Orange flan with lemon verbana sorbet and a 10 year port provided the perfect finish. Although possible to mistake for just another gastrobar from outside, inside the small establishment is a tasteful oasis of order...
Really great restaurant, atmospheric decor. After several days of eating pinxtos we were looking forward to a regular meal. This place did not disappoint, probably the best steak I've ever had! Lots of little extras like an amuse bouche starter of soup and croquettes. Lovely chocolate dessert followed by homemade chocolates served with coffee. Reasonable prices and lovely wine. A very friendly Spanish lady running the show very efficiently looking after all the tables.
restaurant located in the old town of hondarribia, very close to the church of Santa Maria de la Asunción and the apple. the site is very nice and romantic, especially at night. The attention and service are perfect. We ate from the menu at noon and it was excellent and we wanted to try the dishes from the menu. the price of € per menu seemed very correct and therefore the price of quality ratio is very good.
Sebastián by Gorka Irisarri… Sin duda aquí podemos decir que se han juntado el comedor más fantástico de todo Euskadi con las muchísimas ganas que tiene Gorka de cocinar bien para muchos más… por lo que sentimos el sábado cenando ya tenemos ganas de volver. Los hongos la ensalada y la merluza estaban geniales. Sebastián te merece mucho Gorka, le devolverás la magia de sus inicios…

I made a check for the first time. we saw this place last night after eating and liked how it looked, so we made a reservation the next day for lunch. eating, the atmosphere and the service were excellent. our waitress has worked all or tables. she worked hard, but efficient. the food was delicious and came out in a contemporary fashion. I recommend this restaurant.
Nos encantó y mucho. Ha sido un descubrimiento. Estaba todo muy rico, muy bien presentado, un servicio maravilloso y un ambiente insuperable. Además pudimos ir con nuestro perrito; a él le encantó también. Un sitio precioso con una oferta gastronómica muy buena. Cuando volvamos de vacaciones volveremos a ir. Súper recomendable, de verdad.
beautiful culinary experience, from the cozy location and facility to the excellent dining and wine offers. a must when you're in hondarribia. all offered for cheap trips by a friendly staff. look forward to a return.
