I feel I needed to write this as i am absolutely gutted this is the end of era. We went to Old town Pollensa 1987 came across this little bar called Tango owned and run by a man his wife and a very young child. Trio was just opening round the corner. The owner Manola took us to a night club, and showed us around his hospitality was second to none and that's why we returned year after year taking our children as they grew up. Eventually the move happened we had not been for a few years. We spent a couple of days to find where Tango had moved to and the minute we walked through the door Manola recognised us as he always did , his son now was grown up and helping him to run the place. My parents have been going to Trio as it used to be for the last 20 years as have all the family whenever we have visted Pollensa....we always visited at least 3 times during a weeks stay so we were gutted to find it closed last week when we were on holiday...as has been said by others the food was great as was the service and I feel it is a great shame that a family business with such a brilliant reputation has closed...hope someone reconsiders as there is nowhere providing the same service food or value in the town now...
Very sad to hear that the Tango Bar has closed due to owner retiring. I had thought his son may have carried on. This was the best value restaurant in the Port. Not only was the food of a consistently high standard, but the staff made this restaurant memorable. Always welcoming and attentive. We never had a bad evening! We and many others I am sure, were made to feel like friends returning each year. Our holiday will not be the same without them. Linda Hastings
We visited early evening mid week in November. The port is quiet now with places closing down this week, but Tango stays open throughout the winter. The restaurant wasn't busy, although it looked as if they were setting up for a party. The menu of the day was excellent value 18.5 euros for 3 courses including wine. reasonable choice with around half a dozen options in each course. Service was good and friendly. Will be back again when next in town.

It's so sad to see that this once fabulous restaurant is closed and left to rack and ruin. I recall such great nights here over the many years we have spent in the resort and I doubt the new owners could manage to attain the fabulous standards set by the owners when it was named Trios. Such a shame for the resort.
there are many places in the port that do menu del dia this is one of the best the food is ok the price is very good it is very pleasant to sit outside for lunch
Unfortunately the owner of Tango has retired and as yet no one else has come forward to take it on. Hopefully it may reincarnate itself during the winter.
