We were staying at Château Madelinot from August 2 to 9 and experienced the Resto Bistro during our stay on several occasions. What about the quality of the dishes, the refinement of the food, the execution on my plates. We ate 2 lunches and 2 dinners at this place. Evening specials are delicious, several prices and a children's menu. The staff is friendly, professional and courteous. The restaurant is beautiful and neat. It gives a view of the ocean, it's absolutely beautiful. For lunch, there are plenty of choices. Prices are expensive, even lunch, but it's worth going at least once during your trip to the Islands.Kid-friendliness: At least 5 different choices for children.
My dining experience at this restaurant was fantastic. Our waitress was very pleasant and provided great recommendations on both the food and the island itself. I ordered the pan-fried Halibut with squash puree, vegetables, Nantes butter with Gaspésie herbs, and crème fraîche, and it was absolutely delicious. Kudos to the chef!
I was blown away by this restaurant! I didn't know what to expect from the food on Île-de-la-Madelaine, but I was pleasantly surprised. The service was top-notch, Chef Sam created diverse and tasty menus all week, and the owner was friendly and attentive. A must-visit if you find yourself on Île-de-la-Madelaine! Gnudis is worth the trip to the islands! Incredible halibut with perfect risotto. Good wine suggestion by server. Very nice chef who goes around with his customers. Not a very pretty dining room unlike the Quai 360 but really better.
Very good meal with magnificent view of the sea. The “discovery of the islands” entry is really good. Server(s) are pleasant and give us good advice. Definitely worth coming to eat here.
Always very good excellent service in summer it's full make a reservation in winter much less busy the only restaurant open on the island all year
