We were a party of four, and I ordered meals for everyone, plus an additional to-go order. Two of us, along with the to-go meal, ordered the same dish, yet there was still confusion. I specifically said, "three steak taco fajitas," and despite going over the order multiple times, we ended up with only three meals for the four of us. Thankfully, they eventually corrected the mistake. The chips and salsa served at the table were disappointing—unseasoned, thick chips and bland salsa. The taco fajitas themselves were not good either; the meat was dry and flavorless, suggesting it had been pre-cooked and left out for too long. The accompanying hot sauce was extremely spicy but lacked good flavor...
My experience at the restaurant was incredibly comforting. The decor, filled with cultural history, created a warm ambiance. The booths were the most comfortable I’ve ever encountered. The service was quick, and our server was polite and attentive, checking in on us periodically to ensure we had everything we needed. As for the food, it was outstanding—authentic and served in generous portions that were well arranged. Overall, the prices were very reasonable; we honestly felt like we should have paid more! We will definitely be returning.
I absolutely love Rey Azteca! This was my first time using DoorDash for delivery from them, and I was not disappointed! The three hard shell ground beef tacos were filled with delicious ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and sour cream. I also really enjoyed the 6oz Cheese Dip with chips—there were plenty to share or even save for another day. For dessert, I had the churros, which were sweet, crunchy, and delectable! I have plenty of leftovers for another meal.
I am so disappointed. I've ordered from this restaurant three times, always the same dish. The first time was amazing; my fiancé and I loved it. However, on the second and third orders, our tacos arrived with completely incorrect toppings. We've consistently requested the same sauce (Diablo), but each time it has been a different texture and color. There seems to be a lack of consistency across the board. Been here a couple of times with colleagues for team lunch. Recently we went with a big group of around 15-16 people and everyone enjoyed the food. Everything was served fresh and on time. I tried the agave chicken tacos which was slightly sweet but to add the heat , it came with a spicy sauce which helped to balance both the flavors. Overall had a good experience each time I visited here.
Always a fantastic experience! This was my first time trying their churros, but I was a bit disappointed by the price. Almost $8 for just three very small churros seems steep. If they offered ice cream in a separate container like other places do, it would definitely make it worth the cost. Aside from that, I was extremely satisfied, as always!
The food was fantastic! It arrived promptly on warm plates. Although the staff had difficulty speaking English, which made ordering and requesting refills challenging, it contributed to the overall atmosphere and wouldn’t deter me from returning.
Always our go to, seems to get better and better! This time we tried a burrito and got the Burrito California. So good and huge! Could easily be two meals. We have tried several of their dishes but still plenty more to go! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Super fast and extremely friendly service..ordered the Agave Chicken Tacos and had some Flan for dessert. Excellent all around. And nice presentation too I must say!
