Rhong-Tiam is my absolute favorite Thai restaurant in central New Jersey. Despite some of the negative reviews, I believe this restaurant serves delicious Thai cuisine. My fiancée and I dine here every weekend and have successfully introduced many friends and family members who all loved it as well. Our go-to dishes include Roti Canai, Summer Rolls, Lettuce Wraps, Tom-Kha Soup, ChuChi Duck, Basil Beef, Pad Kee Mao, Thai Chili Shrimp, Masamman Curry, and more. After trying numerous Thai restaurants in both New Jersey and Manhattan, we always find ourselves coming back to Rhong-Tiam as it is one of our top picks. My husband already gave a rave review, but it bears repeating. It was the most flavorful Thai food I've had in my life and I've had a lot of Thai food! I also want to add that our server was extremely sweet, personable and attentive. We will definitely be back. We have a tradition of going for Thai on my birthday. I know where we are going next year and the years after. My birthday is in March so of course there is no way I can wait to go back until THEN lol! We live over 30 minutes away, but we will be back before then, hopefully MANY more times!
We ordered vegeterian curries and rice, the food was very fresh, and tasted just like how it would at an upscale restaurant in a metro city. Service was ably conducted by lovely Thai ladies. They provided a high chair for our two-year-old child. Price is nominal, but considering the location of the restaurant as part of a nice hotel and the quality of the food and service, I guess one has to pay well for good stuff.
My family and I adore this restaurant. The food and service are outstanding. We feel so welcome here that we make it our go-to spot for special occasions. We have never had a bad experience, and their accommodations are top-notch. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food and a fantastic dining experience. This place is amazing. The dumplings and Thai shumai were top notch and fresh. The Tom yum soup has a nice spice to it. The pad Kee mao was the most flavorful my wife and I have ever had in our 50+ years.i had the Thai chili chicken ordered extra spicy was amazing, the spicy level was high for me, just as I like it. We will definitely be back....often
This Thai restaurant in Central New Jersey is my go-to spot. The wait staff is incredibly attentive, even during busy times. I have been dining here for nearly a year and the food is always delicious!
The food is so interesting and inventive, not to mention delicious! We added wine pairings each time the wines were described to us in detail for each course and the pairings were right on the mark.
